Belmont Point - Ready for Occupancy

After the success of Environ’s renovation of Mitchell Land & Improvement Company’s Naples Plaza, the Long Beach-based developer engaged Environ to reposition and expand the existing building at the intersection of 2nd Street, The Toledo and Bay Shore Avenue in Long Beach.

The building will serve as Mitchell Land & Improvement’s corporate headquarters, with retail space available on the ground floor.

Tim Wilson, President of Mitchell Land and Improvement, said the property had been on his radar for the last ten years, not only for the many amenities 2nd Street has to offer, but for its proximity to his home.

As with many projects, challenges were presented during the entitlement and approvals phase. Tim credits Environ for helping aid in accelerating required approvals, “It was Alan’s relationship with the City that really helped get us through the process.”

The project was led by Environ’s Leticia Mimila, who worked closely with contractor Kelty Co. Construction of Signal Hill. The vision for the final design was a collaborative effort. Finishes of cool grays and warm browns were chosen to provide an aesthetic that is rich and welcoming. The executive offices open to a patio that overlooks the bay.

Aside from the outstanding view, Mitchell Land & Improvement Company looks forward to a more efficient work environment, and Tim specifically looks forward to the one and a half minute commute.
